The experience was nothing but average. Room was dusty, toilet was stopped up had to have maintenance come, tape on bathroom windows, cracks in tile floor, just a very old place that needed renovation. Beds comfortable.Clicked for our car with valet to be ready when we got downstairs, a man came in his socks ask if we were looking for valet. yes he leaves comes back tries to give me someone else's keys where I told him those are not mine. He gives the right keys and we walk to car load it and we pull our car out of spot. Valet never got our car for us at all ! So just a real strang stay. Hampton yall dropped the ball on this one. Oh forgot. Complementary breakfast was a joke. Seats were broken, powder eggs were awful!

This is a quaint hotel in downtown Birmingham with all of the modern conveniences of the newer hotels. It was a few blocks away from the venue and everyone there was so polite and wanted to ensure we had a nice stay. Would definitely stay again.

The room was very dated. The hotel itself has a vintage look but the room was dark and dingy looking. Lighting was very poor. Bathtub had stains or either the poor lighting was casting shadows. The staff however was nice, especially Josh. He was so helpful when I arrived at night to check in and was a little nervous.

The front desk service was limited and so was cleaning service. The air conditioner didn’t seem to work well. It was stuffy. Someone used the restroom before I checked into because there was a match in the commode.
